OMII at Orioles Park
On Tues. 14 August at 7:05 p.m., join your friends from The Meeting
House for an evening at a major league baseball game. To order tickets, please use this link and promo code OMI. Click on the poster at right for a view of the full PDF document.
Please note that although the OMI tickets are all in a block or section, if you want tickets immediately adjacent to particular
people, you will need to order those tickets together in one order in order to get adjacent seats. To arrange for seating on the
bus that will be going to the park from OMI, at an additional cost of $10, contact Mike Shaw
or 410-730-4090 ext 302.
Seating on the bus is a separate transaction, and does not include a ticket to the game, so please purchase your ticket(s) to
the game before arranging for your seat(s) on the bus.

CROP Walk: 20 May
The CROP walk to fight hunger is May 20th this year. Linda Baker is walking to help others.
There is still time to sponsor Linda, or to walk yourself. Information is available for the
Howard County, Maryland CROP Walk.

mark your favorites on your calendar so that you don't miss out.
Are you able to help?
Have you thought about your contributions recently? Think not simply monetarly but personal giving of
yourself such as helping at a food bank or Rt. 1 Project, or perhaps supporting people walking
in CROP to help end hunger? This spring season of renewal, make a new giving habit for yourself.

Altar Flowers

The Worship Committee is continuing to ask for help from the congregation in providing fresh floral arrangements
each Sunday for the altar. A sign-up sheet will be available each Sunday at the kiosk. It includes all Sundays
through December, 2012. Individuals as well as families are invited to help us make our altar as attractive as possible.

Art at The Meeting House
The Oakland Mills Interfaith board of directors has directed the creation of an art committee made up of
congregants from all OMI congregations. The art committee is hosting its second exhibition
in The Meeting House.
Come view the talents of local area artists.
